Juggle Roundup: Sesame Street Boots Katy Perry, Similac Recall

A couple of items in the news today that might be of interest to Jugglers:

Is Katy Perry too sexy for Sesame Street? Sesame Workshop has announced that it is no longer airing a previously scheduled video of the pop star singing a cleaned-up version of her hit song “Hot N Cold” with Elmo. The video (seen here), was deemed too racy by some parents, who complained about her low-cut dress. (Read more at the WSJ’s Speakeasy blog. ) What do you think? Too racy for your kids?  Similac powdered-formula recall: Abbott Laboratories is recalling about five million containers of Similac powdered baby formula, after learning that beetles or their larvae could be in packages made at one of its U.S. production plants, the Journal reported.   (More information about the recall can be found on the company’s website). Does the recall affect any readers?
