Texas A&M opponent Update: Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett is Decent

Watching Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett throw a 40-yard pass to Greg Chiles with 15 seconds remaining to give the No. 12 Hogs a win at Georgia was another reason to be only slightly afraid if you're an Aggies fan. Mallett was 21-of-33 for 380 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions.
It sounds like I am in the minority, but I do believe the Aggies can hang with and beat Arkansas at Jerry World.
He's the best passer in the nation.
Arkansas' running game averaged 2.3 yards per rush against Georgia, and their whole offense is Mallett. If - and this is a massive if considering how quickly Mallett gets the ball out of his hands
- the Aggies can pressure him up the middle and make him slighly uncomfortable they have a real shot.
