Valerie Hamilton Murder Suspect Arrested

On Saturday night, a grim discovery was made when a woman’s body was found in a self storage unit. The body was that of “Valerie Hamilton”, daughter of Police Chief “Merl Hamilton” in North Carolina. It is not clear at this stage how she died.

The suspect “Michael Neal Harvey”, 34, a convicted sex offender was hunted down after a warrant for his arrest was issued. On finding him, he was arrested with the murder of a 23-year old woman. When Caroline at CBS.News.com reported, it seems the last sighting of Valerie Hamilton was on Wednesday night after leaving a restaurant with someone who resembled Harvey. Witnesses reported Hamilton’s car in the parking lot. Until more information has come to light and the cause of her death known, for friends and family of Hamilton, this must be a very emotional rollercoaster.

Valerie Hamilton’s father said to ABC’s “Good Morning America” that ,”They took my daughter, guys, play it right, play it by the rules, but y’all get out there and find this guy for me and when it comes back my way I’ll pay you back.”
