Virginia Woman Execution

Women execution is not really a common felonious practice around the United States of America but the year of 2010 will be remembered as the year in connection with the Virginia woman execution. Virginia woman execution will be the first execution in centuries for the women living in US and specifically in the state of Virginia.

Virginia woman execution is scheduled tomorrow, that is on the twenty third day of September ’10. It has been decided by the Supreme Court that the forty one year old Lewis will be put to slow death by giving her an injection which contains poison.

The reason behind execution of Lewis is that a couple of years ago, she intentionally killed her teenage step son and her husband with a gun; not because she was out of her senses or she hated them, in fact she wanted to get the insurance money so that she

could move to New York and enjoy a lavish life. I wonder how a lady can live comfortably with riches after killing her family members with her own hands. The lawyers of Lewis are repeatedly telling the court that the Lewis is not a mentally stable person. Her brain capacity is that of a thirteen year old child and with such a mental calibre, she killed her husband and son which means it was all unintentional and she was not aware of what she was doing. The Supreme Court has not taken into account the justifications of Lewis’s lawyers and has firmly ordered the Virginia woman execution.
